A multi-purpose leisure centre situated on the A259 to the east of Seaford town centre and in easy reach of Alfriston, the Seven Sisters Country Park, East Dean, Wilmington and surrounding areas. Buses from Eastbourne, Newhaven and Brighton stop outside and Seaford railway station is just 10 minutes away. There is also free on-site parking.

Play Zone

The largest of our indoor play areas is PlayZone at Downs Leisure Centre. Have a children's party in the new indoor football pitch or a ZigZag interactive walls party. With a bouncy castle and climbing frame plus baby area, there's something for everyone! Our cafe is open for drinks, healthy snacks and lunches.

Sessions may be limited to a maximum of 2 hours during busy periods, half term or bad weather. If the sessions is full you can book for the following session at reception only, payment to be made at time of booking.

 

 Playzone Comfort Cooling System

When the weather is too hot to play outside, why not come and visit Playzone.  The comfort cooling system means that the area remains comfortable for the children to play and for parents/gaurdians to sit and watch.

Prices

Children under 1 year not accompanied by older siblings pay £2.10

Children over 1 year pay £4.00 (Under 1 year go free if accompanied by full paying child)

For two or more children over 1 year from the same family, 1st child pays £4.00, additional children pay £2.10.

Childminder rate £2.10

 

 

   

Active Kids

We have a great range of activities and sports available for under 8's too at each of our centres, with an emphasis on fun and learning in a completely save environment. All activities are run and supervised by our fully qualified instructors and may lead to badges and awards for achievement as your child's skills develop.

Supervised Under 8 Sessions

Our Lewes, Peacehaven and Seaford centres offer supervised sessions for under 8’s, allowing you to either relax or enjoy an invigorating workout or exercise class and are available at the following times:
