Who We Are

Wave Leisure Trust Ltd. was formed in 2006 as a registered charitable company limited by guarantee. The trust manages eight facilities in partnership with Lewes District Council, East Sussex County Council, Newhaven Town Council, Peacehaven Community School, Priory School, Ringmer Community College and Seaford Head Community College.

The Trust is experienced in the management of all aspects of community leisure, sports and recreation services and activities, such as leisure centres, swimming pools, health and fitness suites and athletics tracks, as well as associated activities.

Efficient and effective management practices ensure that Wave Leisure delivers a quality service to all customers, both internal and external. The performance of the Trust is measured by guidelines set out by Quest the UK’s Quality Scheme for Sport and Leisure.

The Trust’s annual surplus is reinvested into infrastructure as well as training and development of staff. £3,000 of this surplus is redistributed every year in the Local Community Fund which is open to small organisations and individuals.

Wave Leisure’s partnership and continuous improvement philosophy demonstrates a strong commitment to its communities. The Trust’s prime focus is on providing and developing a service for the local community and promoting its wellbeing.
