Are you a great communicator with quick reactions and a passion for excellent customer service? We’re looking for team players with a can-do attitude to join our Leisure Attendant Team.
You will be a driven and enthusiastic team player with a passion for great customer service and experience of working in a similar environment.
You will have good interpersonal abilities and tact and diplomacy when dealing with tricky customer situations as well as the ability to stay calm under extreme circumstances. You will have excellent observation skills and quick reactions.
You will have a NPLQ qualification (or the ability to obtain one within two months of starting.
Your priorities will be to provide a friendly and efficient service to all customers, pro-actively provide information to promote the centre to the public at all times and respond positively to customer enquiries.
You will clean and maintain areas and equipment, ensuring safety standards, and assist with emergency procedures. You will help to set up and run courses and sessions and coach some.
At wet sites you will lifeguard and supervise the pool area, assist swimmers in difficulty, undertake any necessary life-saving operations and apply First Aid as needed. You will supervise changing rooms and shower areas and make checks of chemical levels in the water. Leisure Attendants also help set up and run swimming lessons and water activities.
