Changes to Class Names at our Sites

If you book classes via our online booking website or app, you might have noticed some classes have new names. To ensure we're bringing our members the best possible experience, we're changing the names of some of our classes to make sure they're standardised across our sites.

The content, times, location, instructor and style of your favourite classes will not be changing, only what they're called.

All name changes come into effect for classes taking place on Monday 30th September 2019 and beyond at certain Wave sites including: Downs Leisure Centre, Seaford, Peacehaven Leisure Centre and Lewes Leisure Centre. Classes taking place before Monday 30th September will be listed under their old name.

Class and session names at Ringmer Swimming Pool, Seaford Head Swimming Pool and Seahaven Swim and Fitness Centre remain unchanged.

The reason you might see updated class names now is because Wave members can book classes up to 14 days in advance, meaning classes after Monday 30th September are displaying with the new names.

This is part of a larger project where we're changing how our Group Exercise classes are shown on our website and on timetables in centres. We'll be updating our online classes and activities page soon, so you get more information about what each class is, who it's suitable for and where you can try it out!
