Water Safety For Kids sessions launch this Summer!
Whether it’s in the pool or the sea this Summer, make sure your children are safe in the water with one-off sessions led by Wave Swim Teachers.
Kids will learn to understand lifeguard flags, know what the rules of swimming are and how to tread water.
Nina Fletcher, Wave’s Aquatics Development Coordinator is excited to launch the sessions: “It is my job to ensure that as many people as possible learn to swim, providing aquatic life skills for physical activity and fun!
"I am delighted that Wave is repeating this activity for a second year, giving the local community an opportunity to learn how to be safe in and around the water, especially with the arrival of Summer.”
The one hour sessions will be at Lewes Leisure Centre on Tuesday 31st July and Seahaven Swim & Fitness Centre in Newhaven on Tuesday 14th August, both at 10am.
The sessions will be informative, fun and interactive and for children aged between 8 to 14 years old. They cost £4.00 per child.
