Health Walks

Weekly walks are run out of Downs Leisure Centre in Seaford, Lewes Leisure Centre and Peacehaven Leisure Centre.

Wave’s Older Person’s Health Walk Group sessions have continued to grow in popularity. All the Health Walks are led by volunteer Health Walk Leaders who have received an accredited training qualification.

The Leaders plan the walk routes which accommodate the needs of all the walkers, and take into consideration the different fitness and mobility levels of the group. This ensures all walkers have an enjoyable and engaging session.
Why not come along and join in? The walks take between 45 minutes to an hour and are suitable for all ages and abilities. The weekly walks are free of charge, but a donation will get you a lovely cup of tea or coffee and a tasty biscuit to enjoy whilst chatting and socialising with your fellow walkers once you return to the Centre after the walk.

Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes and arrive 10 minutes before the walk is due to start. We are sorry, but we are unable to accept dogs unless they are assistance dogs.
