At Wave, our overarching purpose is to inspire active lifestyles and encourage as many people as possible back to our sites. Our refreshed Autumn / Winter timetable commences on 4th October.

The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly affected everyone, and Wave Leisure Trust is no exception. We’ve worked hard to develop a fresh new timetable that offers additional classes, encouraging diversity and increasing accessibility. With increased space, equipment, and skilled instructors, we are in the position to welcome all members, new and existing, to the new inspired class timetable.

We will continue working as a not-for-profit Trust to inspire active lifestyles by providing the same high quality, affordable and accessible health & fitness facilities and activities for our community, in the safest space possible.

Our new classes

There are several benefits to the new and improved Autumn / Winter timetables. From extended sessions and air regulated studios to improved social opportunities and new classes, our team are working hard to deliver an exceptional timetable that caters to our community’s health and fitness routines.


Functional Fit - Using functional movement patterns that mimic everyday life, this class will have you swinging, slamming, pushing and pulling your way to a stronger body, whilst increasing your cardiovascular fitness and strength. You get to play with some fun new equipment too.


Pose Barre - A ballet-based fitness class that can be adapted for all fitness levels and capabilities. Barre is a combination of ballet, yoga and pilates moves that help to sculpt, tone and strengthen your muscles while teaching you correct posture and balance.


Active Age - Gym Floor - Aimed at the older adult this gym floor based class incorporates  resistance & cardio machines along with  functional exercises  to improve strength and become fitter for everyday life. And as you're exercising as a group, some fun and laughter along the way.


Just step – Step your way in to this fun fitness class learning choreography based around a step. With some amazing music to step along to this will be the most fun you’ve had in ages!


Lift Lean - Get the maximum benefits from your training with Lift Lean. Resistance training combined with elements of cardio to get stronger and fitter. This low impact workout will give you an all over body workout and is suitable for all abilities.


Les Mills Grit Athletic™ - GRIT™ Athletic  is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, increases speed and maximizes calorie burn. This workout uses a variety of body weight exercises and provides the challenge and intensity you need to get results fast. GRIT Athletic  takes HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will help motivate you to go harder, to get fit, fast!


RIDE Keiser - Powered by science, Keiser takes indoor cycling to the next level. Enhance your ride with interactive cycling using the big screen. Your instructor will challenge and inspire you with the digital display group system training, igniting competition individually or as a group. You can also track and log your progress by downloading the free app to see your progress. Enjoy the ride!


RIDE MyZone - Coached by colours, you'll be utilising MyZone heart rate trackers to monitor your effort in this ride class. A fantastic way to understand how to challenge your cardiovascular system and get better fitness results. Please Note: You will need to purchase a MyZone belt, but it is not essential to participate in the class.


RIDE Rhythm – This high energy class on a stationary bike gets you pedalling hard and fast. The instructor will take you through a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding to test both your strength and endurance.


RIDE - Fusion - We've fused cycle & strength to create the ultimate Cycle Fusion class. You'll get both cardio & resistance training in this unique 45 minute session. Don’t train longer, train smarter!


Boxercise™ - Get your boxing gloves on! With boxing inspired training  you'll be covering areas such as pad work, circuits & shadow training with a heap of cardio to really blitz those calories and have a whole lot of fun.
