Lane Swimming

We offer four types of lane swimming, available to book through our app or online.

Fitness Swim

A session for faster fitness swimming. The pool will have all five lanes in use, with 2 x fast, 2 x Medium and 1 x slow lane.

For swimmers who will be continually swimming for Fitness and Stamina. Suitable for those aged 11 year and above.

 

Lane Swim

A session designed for slower pace swimming. The pool will have doubles lanes, 1 x Medium and 1 x Slow, with a single fast lane.

For leisurely swimmers. Suitable for those aged 11 year and above.

 

Swim For All

A session for all swimmers. The pool will have a single fast lane, a single medium lane, and an open section for free flow swimming.

A session designed for all swimmers/ pool users.

 

60+ Swim

A session for those aged over 60 years. The pool will have a single fast lane, a single medium lane, and an open section for free flow swimming.

For leisurely swimmers, ages 60+

 

#This Girl Can Swim

This session is aimed at encouraging females into physical activity. The pool will have a single fast lane, a single medium lane, and an open section for free flow swimming.

Therapeutic Swim

This session is aimed at both disabled and pool users who require – and enjoy a calm and relaxing environment. The sessions are capped at 20 swimmers to ensure a positive experience whilst in the pool.

Please use the below guide to decide the right lane speed for you:

The Fast Lane - users should be able to do 1 length of the pool in around 20-30 seconds

The Medium Lane - users should be able to do 1 length of the pool in around 30-40 seconds

The Slow Lane - users should be able to do 1 length of the pool in around 40-50 seconds
