Open swim sessions with Wave provide opportunities to have time in the pool either with family, friends or just to have some time to swim how you want to, without lanes. Time in the pool helps to build water confidence, develop skills and aids towards improved health and fitness, no mater what your age.
Whether you are looking to have more free time in a swimming pool environment or to improve your health and fitness, Open Swimming has no lanes and enables you to swim how you want.
Although some of our swim sessions are bookable via online or the Wave App, we also offer the ability to just turn up at the time of our sessions.

Swim for All sessions are available to welcome all swimmers and abilities.
The pool will have a single fast and a single medium lane to enable those who prefer to lane, but will also include an open section for free flow swimming.
Swim for All is not available to pre-book but is a drop in only session.
Swim for All is open for all pool users and swimmers.
Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Find out more about our admissions policy here.
Across our timetables we have identified swimming times which are for adults only.
Adult only sessions are available to book online, via the app or to drop in, according to availability.
These sessions are suitable for those aged 16 years and over.
