Cardio Group Exercise Classes

We have a variety of Cardio classes at our sites in Peacehaven, Seaford, Lewes and Newhaven.

Whether you want to burn calories, reduce stress or increase your energy levels, cardio training (otherwise known as cardiovascular or CV training) will help you live a fitter & healthier life.

Please note, some of our cardio classes are for those aged 14+ and some are 16+ only. For all classes, we suggest wearing comfortable clothes and footwear that you can move freely in and bringing along a water bottle. If it's your first time to the class don't worry, our classes are for all abilities so please work at whatever level is right for you. Let the instructor know it's your first time and they will help you get started.

RIDE - Rhythm 

This high energy class on a stationary bike gets you pedalling hard and fast. The instuctor will take you thriough a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding to test both your strength and endurance. Enjoy the ride!

RIDE - Keiser

Powered by Science, Keiser takes indoor cycling to the next level. Enhance your ride with interactive cycling using the big screen. Your instructor will challenge and inspire you with the digital display group system training, igniting competition individually or as a group. You can also track and log your progress by downloading the free app to see your progress. Enjoy the ride!

RIDE - Myzone 

Coached by colours, you'll be utilising MyZone heart rate trackers to monitor your effort  in this ride class. A fantastic way to understand how to challenge your cardiovascular system and get better fitness results. Please Note; You will need to purchase a MyZone belt but it is not essential to participate in the class

 

Just Step

Step your way in to this fun fitness class learning choreography based around a step. With some amazing music to step along to this will be the most fun you’ve had in ages!

RIDE - Express

30 min high intensity training using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It’s a short, intense style of training where the instructor will motivate you to push your physical and mental limits. A high intensity, low impact workout thats proven  to get great results. enjoy the ride!

Power Conditioning 

This class is focused on conditioning the body with explosive power. Using varied equipment such as barbells, plates and kettlebells this class will challenge you on both a cardio and resistance perpective. Did someone say DOMS!

Total Condtioning 

A head to toe workout using varied equipment to increase muscle tone and fitness levels. A hi/lo mixed impact class for all abilities to great music and you'll leave  feeling  fantastic.

Body Conditioning

A varied class combining cardio, resistance and core training. Using a selection of equipment or just your own bodyweight this class will focus on increasing your strength & cardiovascular fitness to give you the ultimate full body workout.

Boxercise™

Get your boxing gloves on! With boxing inspired training  you'll be covering areas such as pad work, circuits & shadow training with a heap of cardio to really blitz those calories and have a whole lot of fun.

Functional Fit - Gym Floor 

Using functional movement patterns that mimic everyday life this class will have you swinging, slamming, pushing & pulling your way to a stronger body whilst increasing your cardiovascualr fitness and strength - the bonus is you get to play with some fun equipment too!

Active Age - Gym

Aimed at the older adult this gym floor based class incorporates  resistance & cardio machines along with  functional exercises  to improve strength and become fitter for everyday life. And as you're exercising as a group, some fun and laughter along the way.

Active Age - Body Con

Aimed at the older adult this class incorporates a variety of exercises designed to increase your flexibility, fitness and muscular strength to some great music . So no matter what your goals - come along, join in and have fun.  All sessions will be tailored to varying abilities.

Walking Football 

Walking football gives you fun, fitness & friendship whilst playing the game you love!  The sport helps to improve cardiovascular fitness whilst minimising stress on the body and helps participants maintain an active lifestyle. Goal! Each session follows the National Walking Football Association rules.

Cycle HIIT

Kettlebells

A total body workout that combines power and strength to build stamina and total body strength using kettlebells. You will lunge, squat, press and swing your way though this class and find out why the kettlebell is an amazing tool to help you reach your fitness goals. It's fab, just get booked in.

Amplify your workout with this full on circuits class that challenges your strength, power, speed & endurance. With varied exercises to test you, this class will really help you find your max!

Unleash you inner warrior! BODYCOMBAT is a mixed martial arts inspired class that gives you an all over body workouts to amazing music.  You'll destroy calories, develop coordination, agility and speed, and feel empowered. You'll leave feeling ready to take on the world !  No body contact or experience required

Les Mills Grit Cardio™ 

GRIT™ Cardio is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, increases speed and maximises calorie burn. This workout uses a variety of body weight exercises and provides the challenge and intensity you need to get results fast. GRIT Cardio takes HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will help motivate you to go harder, to get fit, fast!

Kettles & Cardio

A fantastic class combining elements of strength and cardio using kettlebells and body weight. Get stronger and fitter with this versatile class that is challenging but also lots of fun. Perfect for all abilities.
